Kristen Fisher Ratan is Associate Director, Strategic Development, at HighWire Press, Stanford University. She joined HighWire in the summer of 2005 and currently oversees business development, partnership, sales, and marketing. Her work includes planning future development for the HighWire electronic publishing platform, expanding HighWire’s marketing footprint, and forging relationships with key partners. Kristen has a 15 year history in the information industry. She holds a Masters in Biomedical Science from Mount Sinai Medical School, with a focus in Neuroscience, and a Bachelors degree in Anthropology from the University of Chicago. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family.
