In this talk, we will present AdaptableGIMP, a new version of GIMP that introduces the notion of crowdsourced interface customizations to applications. Using AdaptableGIMP, users can customize the software for specific tasks. These customizations are instantly made available to all other users. Additionally, each customization has a corresponding wiki page, allowing tutorials to be created for each customization.

We will describe the rationale behind the approach, demonstrate the new interface and its features, and discuss implications for this design.
